Shi Le's impressionistic paintings convey dancing sunlight on his landscapes using a wide-spectrum palette, and with use of a pointillist technique that produces a uniformly textured canvas surface. Wrapped canvas sides are painted black, so that pieces can be hung framed or unframed.
