Watson's mixed media works on wood panel incorporate paint and ink in contrasting organic and graphic applications. The artist regularly uses a resin finish, which saturates colours and adds a high-gloss, smooth, reflective surface to her panels; non-resined works on canvas and panel have a semi-gloss, varnish finish.
