Sheila Kernan’s vivid imagination comes to life through her one-of-a-kind multimedia creations. Her brightly coloured, highly textured paintings are filled with thick juicy brushstrokes, soft delicate washes, and skillful hand-cut stencils. Utilizing many techniques each piece contains 5-10 layers of paint. Carefully composed and inspired by her extensive traveling Sheila’s paintings first start out as miniature paper collages, full-scale drawings, and colour studies. Employing only the highest quality materials each work is a labour of love.
